Prajakta Kadam

Qualifications:

Before moving to Australia, Prajakta completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree and worked for up to three years as a Physiotherapist in Mumbai, India. She completed her Masters in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) from the University of South Australia in July 2024, equipping her with advanced expertise in managing sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Professional Experience:

Prajakta has extensive experience in sports injury rehabilitation and treating musculoskeletal conditions, having worked at a private practice where she focused on helping athletes and active individuals recover and return to their sports. She also served as an on-field physiotherapist for high-profile events such as the International Tennis Federation Men's Championship Mumbai 2022 and the Tata Mumbai Marathon. With a passion for treating sporting injuries, she likes treating lower limb injuries and has a keen interest in strength and conditioning, as well as planning safe and effective return-to-sport programs.

Hobbies/ Outside interests:

Prajakta enjoys staying active through various physical activities like running and loves to try different outdoor sports. In her free time, she loves cooking for friends and family.
